Job Description
Position Summary The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and controlling inventory activities.Hours:7:00 AM- 3:30PM (hours will vary for end of month and physical inventory activities)Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following. Inventory: 80%
- Validate all production receipts and/or discrepancies.
- Perform inventory adjustments and transactions under the guidance of the Inventory Control Manager or other upper-level management.
- Perform electronic transfers.
- Assist in controlling and monitoring the cycle counting program.
- Assist and participate in all physical inventories.
- Create bills of lading for outbound shipments.
- Create all paperwork for international shipments.
- Send advanced ship notices to our retail customers.
- Produce shipping address labels.
- Produce UCC 128 labels.
- Provide constant interaction with transportation drivers.
- Will assist traffic manager with any assigned clerical duties.
- Fill in for other clerical functions within the department.
- Must possess good time management skills, strong organizational skills and proper phone etiquette.
- Must have a professional demeanor.
- Minimum highschool diploma or GED
- Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Previous Dynamics AX and ERP Software experience.
- Previous experience with inventory control software.
