Job Description

Position Summary The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for monitoring and controlling inventory activities.Hours:7:00 AM- 3:30PM (hours will vary for end of month and physical inventory activities)Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following.              Inventory: 80%
  • Validate all production receipts and/or discrepancies.
  • Perform inventory adjustments and transactions under the guidance of the Inventory Control Manager or other upper-level management.
  • Perform electronic transfers.
  • Assist in controlling and monitoring the cycle counting program.
  • Assist and participate in all physical inventories.
Shipping: 20%
  • Create bills of lading for outbound shipments.
  • Create all paperwork for international shipments.
  • Send advanced ship notices to our retail customers.
  • Produce shipping address labels.
  • Produce UCC 128 labels.
  • Provide constant interaction with transportation drivers.
  • Will assist traffic manager with any assigned clerical duties.
  • Fill in for other clerical functions within the department.
Supervisory Responsibilities The Inventory Coordinator has no supervisory responsibilities.    Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. Education and/or Experience
  • Minimum highschool diploma or GED
  • Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.               
Computer Skills
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Previous Dynamics AX and ERP Software experience.
  • Previous experience with inventory control software.
OtherAll other duties as assigned.Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to grasp, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.  The employee frequently is required to walk, stand, stoop, kneel and crouch.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and color vision.  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
