Job Description
The receiving associate role shares in the overall responsibility for receiving, storing and maintaining all inventory.
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bin locations according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, color, or product code
- Use WMS system to enter records, and label product with identifying information
- Optimize employee workflow amongst the other departments according to the work demands
- Operate material handling equipment to transport product within the warehouse
- Responsible for cycle counting inventory on regular basis
- Responsible for replenishment of the picking location
- Assist with container unloading and palletization of inventory
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
- Perform any other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Forklift experience required
- Requires standing, bending, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- PC and computer system knowledge is necessary
- 3+ years of warehouse experience preferred
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Ability to multi-task and organize projects as well as a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
