Inventory Specialist

The receiving associate role shares in the overall responsibility for receiving, storing and maintaining all inventory.

• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bin locations according to predetermined sequence such as size, style, color, or product code
• Use WMS system to enter records, and label product with identifying information
• Optimize employee workflow amongst the other departments according to the work demands
• Operate material handling equipment to transport product within the warehouse
• Responsible for cycle counting inventory on regular basis
• Responsible for replenishment of the picking location
• Assist with container unloading and palletization of inventory
• Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Forklift experience required
• Requires standing, bending, walking, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• PC and computer system knowledge is necessary
• 3+ years of warehouse experience preferred
• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Ability to multi-task and organize projects as well as a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
