Job Description

Inventory Team Lead

Reports to: Assistant Warehouse Manager

Disciplinary Actions: Verbal and written warnings

Candidates must be over 18 years old and fluently speak and understand English, for safety purposes.

This is a leadership position focused on inventory management and accuracy. This position will coordinate team members for stocking (binning) inventory to correct locations utilizing best practice methods, coordinate consolidation efforts, audit inventory utilizing stock (cycle) counts on a quarterly basis, and aid in inventory research for discrepancies.

Team Lead responsibilities:

  • Stock count Creation/Management
  • Best practices being used in all job duties of the Inventory team listed above.
  • Knowing what team is working on at all times
  • Coordinate the team's projects and tasks for the day
  • Constant communication with Management and Receiving Team Lead to form good dynamic
  • Locating missing/misplaced inventory
  • Some stock count approvals
  • Help with Making sure small parcel packages are picked up
  • Training new hires
  • DOCK cleared at end of day
  • Back up any work if Team is behind
  • Asana upkeep

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent

  • Ability to read and write English

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a daily basis

  • Ability to stand continually for an 8 hour shift

  • Previous warehousing and inventory management experience

Compensation: $21.50/hr

Shift Schedule: Monday- Friday, 9am- 6pm

(Peak season/Q4, may require Overtime situations, Mandatory OT and some Saturdays, 4 hours, may be required, with 1 weeks notice from Management)

This is a Full-Time, permanent, non-exempt position, complete with benefits eligibility.
