The IQA Sampling Technician meticulously examines incoming supplies, manages inventory within the quality cage, and collaborates across departments to ensure smooth operations.
SUPERVISION:
Works under the guidance and direction of the Sr. Quality Manager & FDA Sanitation Specialist.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Sampling
- Verify incoming materials against purchase orders and specifications.
- Conduct representative sampling following established procedures and protocols.
- Prepare samples for internal and external lab analysis.
- Maintain meticulous records of received materials, including sampling data and lot numbers.
- Investigate discrepancies identified during receiving or sampling.
- Communicate effectively with internal departments regarding incoming materials and inventory status.
- Participate in the implementation and improvement of quality control procedures.
- Adhere to all company safety and quality control protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure manufacturing standards align with current Good Manufacturing Practice guidelines.

IQA Support
- Oversee the storage and segregation of held and rejected materials within the quality cage.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for held and rejected materials.
- Process returned materials and manage their disposition according to established procedures.
- Conduct regular inventory audits for accuracy and compliance.

Perform other duties and functions as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment.
- Experience in raw material receiving, sampling, and inventory management preferred.
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and quality control principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic data management tools.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across departments.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
