Job Description
About the Team:
Relativity Space is on a mission to better connect humanity to space and the universe beyond our planet. With decades of experience scaling world-class technology organizations like Google, CEO Eric Schmidt is guiding Relativity into its next phase: advancing Terran R toward launch and building the foundation for long-term impact.
The IT Department at Relativity Space designs, builds, and maintains the technology ecosystem that powers our organization-on the ground, in manufacturing, and at the launch pad. We ensure seamless infrastructure operations, optimize applications and collaboration tools, and provide secure, high-performance computing environments that support both business and engineering needs. Our team safeguards critical systems and data through proactive security measures, risk management, and compliance enforcement, ensuring mission readiness at every stage. We deploy and support engineering software and automation solutions that enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and drive innovation across design, production, testing, and launch operations. Reliable, high-speed network connectivity is at the core of our operations, enabling efficient communication and data transfer across sites, test stands, and mission-critical environments. With a focus on performance, security, and continuous improvement, we provide the foundation for scalable growth and technical excellence in aerospace innovation.
About the Role:
Join Relativity's IT Operations team to support our continued growth at our Stennis, Mississippi location. In this role, you will:
- Take ownership of resolving tickets related to desktop, user experience, and system issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain user endpoint devices, along with infrastructure components managed by other IT teams.
- Proactively deliver and document solutions that reduce service desk requests and eliminate repetitive service workloads.
- Apply your strong knowledge of desktop operating systems to resolve issues, improve the end user experience, and recommend enhancements to IT processes and standards.
- Contribute to IT Operations projects and initiatives, collaborating with peers and cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and reliability.
About You:
- 3-4 years of hands-on IT support experience in environments supporting both Windows and macOS systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in IT troubleshooting and support workflows, including hardware setup, software deployment, peripheral support, and user account management.
- Strong working knowledge of core IT concepts such as IP addressing, DNS/DHCP, file permissions, and system imaging.
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills and the ability to support users across a wide range of technical skill levels.
- Proven ability to balance independence with appropriate escalation, showing sound judgment and accountability in complex situations.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift quickly, with the ability to adapt and contribute to ongoing process improvements.
Nice to haves but not required:
- Linux, iOS, and Android support experience in an enterprise environment.
- Knowledge of basic cloud SaaS/PaaS administration.
- Familiarity with management tools such as ADUC, MDMs, MDT, Office 365 admin console, etc.
- Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence), SharePoint, Smartsheet, and other business productivity applications.
