Zantech is looking for a talented IT Cloud/Linux Subject Matter Expert - SME to be the Primary operations and maintenance of Linux-based servers supporting BEA's public website and core systems using LAMP stack architecture.
Skills Required:
- Linux server administration
- Apache web server configuration
- MySQL database management
- Network security and firewalls
- Performance tuning and optimization
- Cloud computing (Microsoft Azure)
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and manage Linux-based servers hosting applications
- Install, configure, and maintain Apache web server for optimal performance and security
- Manage MySQL databases including backup strategies and performance tuning
- Monitor and apply security updates for Linux, Apache, and MySQL
- Implement firewalls, intrusion detection, and encryption
- Configure CDN integration for faster content delivery
- Manage caching solutions (Varnish, Memcached) to boost site speed
- Implement automated backups for databases and file systems
- Develop disaster recovery plans for system failures
- Support on-premise and cloud-based Linux servers
- Support and manage Windows cloud servers and migrations
Required Security Clearance:
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active Public Trust or higher clearance, per contract requirements.
