Join us at The Oregon Clinic as a full-time Information Technology Project Manager. Work alongside a collaborative team of patient-focused colleagues in our thriving Central Administration office.
This position combines project management with hands-on technical engagement. The IT Project Manager is expected to spend time at active project sites leading installations, coordinating vendor activities, and ensuring technical deployments are completed successfully. This is not solely an administrative or scheduling role-it requires active participation in day-to-day project execution.

Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include:
- Responsible for the planning, coordination, and completion of projects.
- Conduct on-site visits to active projects to oversee installation, cabling, networking, and workstation setup.
- Deploy and configure end-user devices, network hardware, and peripheral equipment.
- Coordinate and supervise vendors, contractors, and internal IT staff during onsite work.
- Ensure technical standards and security requirements are followed during installations.
- Participate directly in testing, validation, and go-live readiness for IT systems and equipment.
- Support troubleshooting and field issue resolution during deployment phases.
- Oversees all aspects of assigned projects, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarizing the progress of the project(s)
- Builds and maintains working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the various projects.
- As needed, this position prepares reports for upper management regarding the status of each project.
- Familiar with a variety of IT concepts, practices, and procedures; and relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Initiates and manages complex projects from design and development to implementation, including project team coordination, meetings, timelines, problem resolution, budgets, and deliverables.
- Creates and/or maintains calendars and other project management tools that facilitate effective communication and project execution.
- Works with stakeholders to build trust and credibility.
- Effectively engages team dynamics and tailors project and change management approaches to foster team cohesion and ensure shared accountability.
- May assist in the transition of new groups and acts as a resource.
- Responsible for hands-on support.
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary:
Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: $109,774.08 - $164,661.12 per year.
Workdays: This role is Gastroenterology East Clinic in Northeast Portland. Typical hours are Monday-Friday (8:00 am-5:00 pm).
Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience, and values including:
- Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field. Relevant experience may be substituted.
- Minimum of three (3) years of Project Management experience is strongly preferred. Healthcare Project Management experience is a plus!
- Previous experience with Project Management Software is required.
- Project Management Certification is strongly preferred.
- Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus!
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Skills in managing, troubleshooting, and researching complex problems/projects.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
- Ability to analyze, prepare, and present financial and performance-related reports and projects.
- Ability to work with complex software and reorganize complex data into a presentation format.
- Excellent attendance, communication skills, and work ethic.
- Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
