IT Specialty Analyst- Epic Case Management / Population Health
Overview
The IT Specialty Analyst- Epic Case Management supports, optimizes, and enhances Epic applications that enable inpatient case management, care coordination, discharge planning, and utilization management workflows.
This role partners closely with clinical, operational, and IT teams to ensure Epic solutions effectively support patient care, population health initiatives, and regulatory requirements. The analyst will analyze workflows, configure and maintain system builds, test upgrades, and provide ongoing support to ensure high-quality, efficient care delivery across the continuum.
This position is ideal for someone with strong Epic Case Management expertise and related Epic certifications who enjoys improving clinical workflows, solving complex problems, and partnering with inpatient case management teams.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field (Preferred)
Experience in lieu of bachelor's degree 3 years of relevant experience with a degree
5+ years of relevant experience without a degree
Certification / Licensure
Epic Case Management Certification or Accreditation or Epic Clinical Documentation (Clin Doc) Required
Healthy Planet Certification or Accreditation with relevant experience will be considered
Experience
Experience supporting and optimizing Epic Case Management, Clin Doc, or Healthy Planet applications
Experience working with inpatient case managers, care coordinators, and utilization management teams
Experience supporting clinical workflows including care coordination, discharge planning, and patient transitions
Experience performing workflow analysis, system build, testing, and optimization within Epic
Experience supporting incident, change, and release management for clinical applications
We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$80,204.80-$133,681.60. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
