iQuasar, LLC is seeking a Journeyman Software Developer for our customers in Dahlgren, VA. iQuasar is an 18+-year-old Northern Virginia company delivering recruitment, proposal development, digital marketing, software development, and IT solutions to Small and Medium Business (SMB) Government contractors in technology and Civil Engineering verticals.
One of our clients in Dahlgren, VA, needs a Journeyman Software Developer for a permanent position.

Job Responsibilities:
- Leverage experience with relational and non-relational database technologies such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB to develop and maintain robust data-driven applications.
- Utilize CI/CD tools, particularly GitLab, to streamline software development lifecycles, automate deployments, and maintain code quality.
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using C#, .NET, .NET Core, Web API, MVC, and LINQ, ensuring scalable and maintainable codebases.
- Build dynamic and responsive front-end applications with modern JavaScript libraries and frameworks including jQuery, D3.js, React, and Vue.
- Develop and deploy containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them in Kubernetes environments to ensure consistency across development and production environments.
- Apply foundational knowledge in Computer Science or related fields to support software engineering best practices and cross-functional collaboration.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working on software development teams
- 2+ years of experience with object-oriented programming, including C#, Python, or Java
- 2+ years of experience with version control systems
- Experience with deploying applications and CI/CD tools, including GitLab
- Experience with application containerization
- Knowledge of programming fundamentals, concepts, and language mechanics
- HS diploma or GED
- Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 IAT II Certification, including Security+, within 30 days of start date
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility security
