Description
At American Credit Acceptance, the Jr. Graphic Designer works within the IT department, supporting the application development and design teams in creating visual assets for a variety of platforms. This role also contributes to branding, marketing materials, and recruitment campaigns, alongside assisting in video production and editing. The Jr. Graphic Designer’s goal is to support ACA’s business objectives by delivering high-quality, effective designs that help drive the company forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing user-friendly, effective, and engaging user interfaces for multiple platforms under supervision.
- Support the creative team in prototyping and iterating on design solutions.
- Assist in shooting, editing, and producing videos for internal and external communications, ensuring alignment with branding standards.
- Create branded materials for marketing and recruiting efforts, including presentations, print and digital assets, social media graphics, and career fair materials.
- Collaborate with HR and Talent Acquisition to support recruitment campaigns by designing consistent, compelling visual content for recruiting initiatives.
- Contribute to user research activities, including task flow analysis and synthesizing research findings.
- Collaborate with team members to align designs with business goals and user needs, under the guidance of senior designers.
- Assist in testing and refining design and video production decisions based on feedback and analytics.
- Ensure that all design and marketing efforts help to drive ACA’s business forward by delivering value to internal and external stakeholders.
- Enthusiasm for Ai tools as a means for greater efficiency in producing quality visuals aligned with stakeholder goals and business needs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field (or nearing completion).
- 0–2 years of graphic or interface design experience, including internships.
- Basic understanding of UI/UX design principles and user-centered design methodologies.
- Familiarity with design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, etc.).
- Basic experience with video production, including shooting, editing, and post-production using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
- Knowledge of branding and marketing design best practices, particularly for recruitment and marketing materials.
- Good communication skills to work with internal business partners and project teams.
- Ability to interpret feedback and apply it to both design and video production work.
- Desire to learn and grow under the guidance of senior team members.
