Jr. Facilities Management Specialist - Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD

Martek Global Services, Inc. (“Martek”) has been awarded several long-term Federal contract to provide a wide range of IT talent.  Our team is seeking  a Jr. Facilities Management Specialist to  join our team supporting the Department of Defense (DoD) with High Performance Computing (HPC) Moderation Program and Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) DoD Supercomputing Resource Center (DSRC) with the required education and experiences outlined below.Onsite: 5 Days a Week on Site Address: Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MDSalary Range: $33.00 -$36.00 Per Hour

Responsibilities & Duties

The Jr. Facilities Management Specialist will be responsible for performing technical inspections of work, adhering to quality control standards, and reviewing project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance with requirements. Additional duties include:

• Provides a single or range of engineering, facility management and/or construction functions.
• Support the site Facilities Managers in reviewing projects and identify/control risks through assessments.
• Support sites to assess ongoing work conditions to ensure compliance.
• Support the site Facilities Managers in reviewing projects and identify/control risks through assessments.
• Support sites to assess ongoing work conditions to ensure compliance.
• Additional duties as assigned

Educational & Experience Requirements

• Candidate must possess a Secret Clearance 
• High School Diploma with 4 years’ experience; OR associates degree with 2 years’ experience in a related field; OR a Bachelors degree (or higher) in a related field with no experience
