Position Summary: The Junior Product Manager (JPM) supports the definition and execution of product vision, strategy, and roadmap grounded in customer insights, market trends, and business objectives. The JPM acts as a business process expert, identifying operational or procedural inefficiencies and recommending improvements, which may or may not require technical solutions. Working under the direction of senior Product Managers, this role collaborates with engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable deliverables.The JPM assists in developing and managing detailed product requirements to ensure clarity and alignment across technical and nontechnical teams. They utilize data and metrics to evaluate product performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement. The JPM contributes to end-to-end implementation of product launches, including stakeholder communication, adoption strategies, and post-launch data analysis.Essential Duties:·* Acts as a business process expert, identifying business process gaps and recommending the appropriate improvement. This will not always require technology. ·* Help collaborate with engineering, design, operations, and business stakeholders to translate under the direction of the Product managers, requirements into actionable deliverables. ·* Help develop and manage detailed product requirements, ensuring clarity for technical and nontechnical teams. ·* Use data and metrics to measure product performance, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement. ·* Help to implement product launches end-to-end, including stakeholder communication, adoption strategies, and post-launch data collection. ·* Develop detailed program schedules, manage critical path, and proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies.·* Drive adherence to SDLC process, with particular attention to tracking through Jira tickets and documentation through Memos ·* Create and maintain transparency across stakeholders through reporting, dashboards, and regular status updates.·* Facilitate effective communication across engineering, operations, product management, and leadership teams.·* Anticipate bottlenecks, make trade-offs, and balance business needs with technical constraints.Minimum Qualifications: ·* Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.·* 2+ years of experience in program management, technical program management, or engineering management.·* Proven track record of delivering large, complex, cross-functional technical programs.·* Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.·* Ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders, driving alignment and accountability.·* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present to senior executives.·* Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Regular periods of sitting or standing may be required by this position. In addition, this position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
