Job Description
Junior Software Engineering Cohort
Koddi is excited to announce two Engineering Cohort programs - one launching on February 2, 2026, and a second beginning on June 8, 2026. These intensive 8-week training programs are designed for recent graduates with Statistics or Computer Science degrees, as well as those who have completed coding bootcamps. Participants will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of Engineering at Koddi, along with instructor-led and self-paced leadership development opportunities throughout the program and beyond.
Program Highlights:
- Beginning February 2nd and June 8th , 2026, both running 8 weeks long
- Work with industry-leading experts to gain hands-on knowledge and experience
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of the Koddi business
- Have the opportunity to share and present ideas with team members
- Participate in leadership workshops and soft skill development
- Receive executive mentorship and peer-to-peer support throughout the program
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with a team of software engineers, contributing to an agile environment
- Write clean, organized, and maintainable code
- Assist in developing tools and libraries to support automation efforts
- Support product features through various stages of development and deployment
- Learn and apply software best practices while incorporating new technologies
- Work with the product management and program teams to help define feature specifications and contribute to product development
- Participate in analyzing and improving system efficiency and scalability
- Ensure that business requirements are met by assisting in the creation and execution of automated tests
- Contribute to technical discussions and actively participate in team problem-solving sessions
What You'll Bring
- Graduating with a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science or successful completion of relevant bootcamp coursework
- Graduation/Bootcamp completion date no later than December 2025
- Demonstrated software engineering experience from previous internship, work experience, coding competitions, or publications
- Experience with web application development, distributed and parallel systems, developing large software systems, or security software development
- Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, programming and software engineering
- Ability to produce high quality code with good test coverage, using modern abstractions and frameworks
- Experience in computer science, with competencies in data structures, algorithms and software design
- Experience programming in two or more of the following languages: C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Go, Python, Typescript or similar
- Work independently, use available resources to get unblocked, and complete tasks on-schedule by exercising strong judgment and problem solving skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and eagerness to learn
- Enjoys working in a fast paced environment with high collaboration
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Availability to be onsite for the duration of the program Monday-Friday in our Fort Worth office
- Availability to work Full Time after the cohort program
