Job Description
Belay Technologies has been voted Baltimore Business Journal's (BBJ) Best Places to Work 2019, runner up in 2020 and a finalist in 2021!Belay Technologies is seeking a Junior System Engineer (Data Modeling) to join our intel team. The Data Modeling team is focused on modernizing business IT systems that currently span multiple databases, user interfaces, and data formats. This role is key to the successful migration of business data from legacy systems to a new platform.Candidates should have the following qualifications:
- TS/SCI Clearance with polygraph
- 7 years with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or related field) or 12 years without the degree
- Experience with database design and modeling
- Experience utilizing SQL within relational database systems (e.g., Oracle, Postgres)
- Experience reverse engineering systems in both front-end and back-end capacities
- Experience with data analysis and visualization, data normalization and cleansing, and data security
- Knowledge of existing BM&A systems
