Every position in the restaurant—though different in responsibility—is equally important in creating a memorable guest experience. Our FOH team works together throughout each shift to ensure the restaurant runs smoothly, efficiently, and with genuine hospitality.

Key Management Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support daily FOH operations with professionalism and efficiency
  • Lead by example and help set expectations for team performance
  • Maintain strong guest and employee relationships
  • Assist with scheduling, shift management, and team communication
  • Perform opening and closing procedures
  • Execute and oversee orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Assist with creating and placing product orders
  • Ensure cash-handling accuracy and accountability
  • Solve problems quickly and confidently
  • Support and reinforce Napa Flats standards of service and hospitality
  • Work efficiently in multiple FOH positions as needed
  • Maintain food, liquor, and wine knowledge to answer guest questions
  • Help uphold cleanliness, organization, and operational flow
Qualifications & Key Characteristics
  • Certificates of qualification (if applicable)

  • Charismatic and approachable leadership style
  • Strong communication skills
  • Responsible and committed to operational excellence
  • Solid restaurant and FOH operational knowledge
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Experience with scheduling, cash handling, and order execution
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm in high-pressure situations
  • Demonstrates leadership qualities and team-first attitude
  • Meets and upholds Napa Flats’ service and performance standards
