Kids Club Attendant Crunch Fitness Parkland

Position Title:Kids Club Attendant

Reports to: Assistant manager, Kids Club Lead, and General Manager

Compensation: $9/Hour

Requirements:Fluent in English, proficient reading and writing skills, computer skills

Special Skills:Strong customer service skills, Patience in dealing with children and customers, and passionate about fitness

Responsibilities:

• Lead activities, games and other approved activities for the children in the Kid’s Club area
• Provide child care to children and follow appropriate discipline procedures
• Notify parent/guardian if necessary to attend to personal needs (i.e., diaper changing)
• Administer first aid to children in accordance with company policy
• Review copy of Kid’s Club policies and procedures with parents
• Report any incidents to Kid's Club Lead, Assistant Manager and Club Manager
• Report all member complaints to Kid’s Club Lead or Assistant Manager
• Report any child health concerns to Kid’s Club Lead or Assistant Manager so a Health Alert may be posted if required
• Responsible for general cleaning duties and disinfecting toys
• Ensure parent/guardian follows proper checking in and checking out of children (up to date account, wristband, etc)
• Perform daily periodic "team cleans" of the facility to maintain the kids club clean, safe and clutter free.
• Communicate special events to members and guests.
• Maintain an atmosphere which makes members and kids feel welcome.
• Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager.
• Maintain professional dispositions at all times.
• Assist in all projects as delegated by club management, assistant manager or kids club lead.
• Follow all policies and procedures in the Employee Handbook.
• Opening and closing duties.

Meetings:

• Monthly or Weekly Department Meetings
• Employee Training Meetings

Experience: 6-12 months child care experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand, pick up children, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and walk, talk and hear

Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
