Kitchen Assistant – Healthcare Facility

Job Summary- WEEKLY PAY 

We are seeking a reliable Dietary Cook to prepare and cook meals for residents in a clean, organized kitchen environment. This role focuses on preparing quality meals that meet basic dietary needs while working as part of a supportive dietary team. Healthcare cooking experience is helpful but not required — training is provided.

What You'll Do

• Prepare and cook meals following planned menus
• Follow basic dietary guidelines (diabetic, low-sodium, modified textures, etc.)
• Ensure food looks good, tastes good, and is served on time
• Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation standards
• Assist with basic inventory and stocking of food supplies
• Keep kitchen, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
• Work closely with dietary aides and kitchen staff
• Interact respectfully with residents regarding meals or requests

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Cooking experience preferred (restaurant, cafeteria, institutional, or healthcare)
• Willingness to learn dietary and food safety guidelines
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
