Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to:
accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes
- Performing monthly, quarterly and year-end financial closing activities.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Planning, implementing and supervising the company s financial strategy and budgeting
- Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
- Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end
- Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
- Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships
Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.
- 3+ years working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager
- Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
- Advanced computer skills on MS Office, accounting software and databases (SAP & Quickbook)
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manipulate large amounts of data.
- Ability to direct and supervise
