100%:
- Coordinate KPR's underwriting e-newsletter and create content for station e-newsletter.
- Assist underwriting staff by entering contracts, managing smaller contracts, as well as negotiating trades.
- Assist with social media, promotion of station events, live performances and programming.
- Assist with letters and mailings, as well as membership drives.
- Hang posters and table for KPR events.
- Data entry, if needed, and take notes during semi-annual KPR Advisory Board meetings.
- Other duties, as assigned, which could include minimal cleaning tasks in station common areas.
Required Qualifications
- Reliable to accomplish workplace goals/tasks and able to work a regular/consistent schedule, as evidenced by application materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge about KPR programming and ability to work independently with Emma and the Adobe Creative Suite, as evidenced by application materials.
Position Requirements
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
