In this role, you’ll be essential to our exploration and production success in the Appalachian Basin, focusing on critical data management, research, and support tasks. If you’re eager to learn the ropes of land operations, contribute to complex projects, and maintain accurate land records, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and directly impact our operations.What You Will Be Doing:As a Land Acquisitions Technician, you’ll play a crucial role in our land acquisition efforts by:
- Managing and maintaining land acquisition data in our databases and spreadsheets, including ordering, tracking, and processing title information, and updating internal records for ownership or description changes.
- Conducting property research, which involves title searches, reviewing property records, and mapping.
- Reviewing curative requirements to ensure data accuracy.
- Preparing and providing status reports on projects to the Land Operations Manager.
- Supporting field staff with curative efforts.
- Assisting with internal land administration, land acquisitions, and land unitization processes.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Land Management, Business or related field strongly preferred
- 1+ years of experience with land, land administration, land acquisition processes, or division of interests is a plus, but not required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Relevant experience within the Oil and Gas Industry is preferred but not required.
- A basic understanding of land rights and mineral interests is preferred.
- Familiarity with environmental regulations and permitting processes is a plus.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently.
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills for clear interaction with various stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in compiling reports, maintaining records, and evaluating documents.
- The ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and discretion.
- Adaptability and flexibility to navigate changing priorities.
- A commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
