Job Description

SchoggenScapes is a family-owned business since 2001. We serve the Jackson Metro area with landscape design and maintenance, hardscape construction, and functional services such as drainage and irrigation systems. Our clients include numerous residential, commercial, homeowners' associations and athletic complexes throughout central MS.

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for an experienced Landscaping Division Manager- Maintenance to join our team. We offer a competitive compensation package including a base salary of $85,000-$95,000, plus a company vehicle, healthcare, 401K with a 3% employer match, and paid time off.

Requirements for our Landscaping Division Manager- Maintenance:

  • 5+ years of experience leading and growing a Landscape Maintenance Division.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams, including experience leading other managers.
  • 2+ years of sales management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent military leadership experience required.
  • Expertise in horticulture and large-scale landscape project management.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
  • Knowledge and experience leveraging landscape management software such as BOSS LM.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities for our Landscaping Division Manager-Maintenance:

  • Leading the strategic operations of the team including long-term planning for contract performance and profitability.
  • Monitoring maintenance, enhancement, irrigation and lawn care contracts to ensure high quality outcomes with efficient practices.
  • Executing the company's strategic objectives by leading initiatives that drive growth, efficiency, and process improvements within the Maintenance Division.
  • Coaching and empowering the Maintenance Division leadership team to create actionable strategies for achieving department goals, emphasizing lean, systematic approaches.
  • Cultivating a high-performance culture by coaching supervisors and team members, focusing on skill development and employee retention.
  • Driving department sales, retention and contract administration to meet or exceed growth and profitability targets.
  • Develop competitive pricing strategies and monitor vendor pricing to maintain cost efficiency.
