Lead Consultant-Sustainability

Job Description

Infosys is seeking Lead Consultant-Sustainability. Sustainability Practice Unit at Infosys is created with the motto of delivering high impact sustainability outcomes by leveraging solutions and capabilities from various service lines, partners and our own experience in achieving carbon neutrality. We are the nodal practice unit for all Sustainability conversations with our clients and within the company. We are a rapidly growing unit focusing currently on data analytics, reporting and compliance, decarbonization solutions. We aspire to grow the practice unit to also focus on developing specific industry focused sustainability solutions along with leveraging the latest in technology like AI, Block chain etc. and deliver real world, tangible sustainability outcomes for our customers.

Required Qualifications:

Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 7 years of Information Technology experience.

Use quantitative research methodologies include KPIs, trend analysis, on sustainability KPIs including key legislation

Qualitative research methodologies include performing market research and collecting business intelligence around sustainability performance of a company

Experience in successfully delivering projects in Client's Matrix environment (Multiple vendors/teams involved in any single project)

Ability to analyze, evaluate solution options keeping in mind the end user needs and goals

Understanding of sustainability outcomes across ESG dimensions

Manage entire project end to end - Deliverables, Critical Paths, Dates, Budget/ Forecast Lead client discussions to assess, analyze smart space goals, challenges

Familiar with Agile development processes, toolsets

Receive, review, modify all SOWs to meet business needs

Chair meetings with Design, Data, Development, Change Management teams of client, and other partners/stakeholders

Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Understanding of the concepts of product carbon footprint, circular economy, life cycle assessment (LCA), sustainable manufacturing, and sustainable finance

Understanding of the sustainability implications for an organization within its operation as wells within the upstream & downstream value chain (e.g. sustainable supply chain)

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
