Lead Housekeeping Supervisor

Required Skills & Abilities:

-At least two (2) of hotel Housekeeping Supervisor experience required

-Flexible to work AM, and PM shifts, mid-shifts, weekends and holidays

-Must have the ability to communicate in English both verbal and written

-Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is a plus

-Extensive administrative experience, strong computer literacy skills, good knowledge of Microsoft Word programs; Excel, Word, PowerPoint

-Excellent organizational and time management skills

-Must be able to lift/carry at least 30 pounds, stand/walk for at least eight (8) hours and perform repetitive bending and stooping motions

-Strong and effective communication skills to lead housekeeping team and efficiently communicate with managers and supervisors in other operations departments

Job Description:

-Assist with supervising all housekeeping staff

-Inspect cleanliness of guest rooms, corridors and service elevator landings and provide feedback when cleanliness standards that are not met

-Assist with onboarding and train new hires

-Resolve guest concerns related to cleanliness issues and ensure cleanliness standards are met

-Open and close department, run reports, conduct pre-shift meetings and attend required in absence of executive housekeeper

-Assist with leading housekeeping supervisor team and delegate duties to support daily operations of the department

-Analyze business needs and make operational decisions in absence of the Executive Housekeeper
