Job Description
General Summary: Leads and performs essential assembly operations for manufacturing hose assemblies, custom bent tube products, and a variety of assembled components. Responsibilities include assembly, fabrication, testing, quality control, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment in accordance with company standards and procedures.What You Will Do (Essential Job Functions):Team Support & Operations Management
- Lead and coordinate the activities of production staff in the Assembled Solutions Department
- Oversee hose assembly operations, including cutting, crimping, testing, and final inspection
- Direct tube bending operations, ensuring accuracy of bends, fit, and finish per customer specifications
- Schedule workloads and assign tasks to meet production goals, delivery deadlines, and quality standards
- Monitor equipment performance and ensure regular maintenance and calibration of hose and tube processing equipment
- Enforce safety procedures and company policies to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members to promote skill development and high performance
- Collaborate with Engineering and Quality departments to resolve production issues and implement process improvements
- Maintain accurate production records, including labor and material usage
- Support lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S, waste reduction, and process optimization
- Ensure all assembled products meet or exceed internal and customer quality requirements
- Assembles and tests high- and low-pressure hose assemblies according to specifications
- Fabricates custom bent tube assemblies including bending, end forming and testing operations
- Assembles valve stack assemblies per technical drawings and work instructions
- Constructs custom panel assemblies, including valves, gauges, tubing and regulators
- Transforms conceptual designs into assembled solutions
- Maintains accurate build records and completes job orders
- Inspects assemblies for quality and completeness before delivery
- Tests assemblies to ensure they meet required specifications and safety standards
- Maintains work area in a clean, organized, and hazard-free condition
- Follows all safety procedures and protocols to prevent workplace injuries
- Adheres to written and oral instructions regarding daily tasks and job assignments
- Provides occasional customer visits to support field sales activities
- Assists with corporate on-boarding and orientation programs as required
- Performs other duties as assigned or requested to support production operations
- Able to annually demonstrate physical ability to stand, walk, bend, grab, and lift and carry weight
- Normal warehousing environment with regular (up to 100% of work time) exposure to noise, dust, office equipment, machinery, equipment and supplies
- High School diploma or GED
- Three (3) years of previous manufacturing-related work experience—assembly work preferred
- Previous leadership experience
- Previous experience working on a business system
