Position Summary

BHI Senior Living is looking for a Legal Intern to join summer intern cohort for 2026. This immersive opportunity will give hands-on, real-world experience working at our corporate office with exposure to our communities and departments.

The Legal Intern will focus on:

• Continued development and research for our background check policy
• Organization-wide tracking system with vendors
• Reviewing and updating the corporate risk management policy
• Legal review tool for new vendor contracts
• Research for ongoing projects and policies as needed.

Qualifications

Required:

• Currently enrolled as a second-year law student (2L) in good academic standing

• Demonstrated interest in developing knowledge across legal areas relevant to senior care, including employment law and vendor compliance

• Passion for caring for seniors with industry interest.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
