Licensed HVAC Contractor (License Holder) – HVAC & Energy Audit Divisi

About the roleWe’re expanding beyond solar into HVAC and comprehensive home energy audits. We’re looking for a Licensed HVAC Contractor whose license can be housed with Power Energy Solutions and who will help build and lead our HVAC and Energy Audit line of business (heat pumps, high-efficiency HVAC, ductwork, load calcs, blower door testing/insulation scopes, etc.).What you’ll doServe as license holder for our NJ HVAC operations (and help us add PA as we expand).Stand up processes for installs, replacements, service calls, and maintenance plans.Oversee permitting, inspections, and code compliance.Perform/oversee energy audits (blower door, duct leakage, basic thermography) and translate findings into scopes.Partner with our solar ops to create bundled HVAC + efficiency offerings.Recruit/mentor techs as the team scales; support vendor/wholesaler relationships.Review designs, perform load calcs (Manual J/S/D), and sign/seal where required.Ensure safety, QA/QC, and customer satisfaction.What we’re looking forActive NJ HVACR license in good standing (Master HVACR or equivalent).5+ years field experience; leadership/foreman or small-team management a plus.Comfortable with heat pumps, high-efficiency gas, mini-splits, controls.Familiarity with energy auditing (RESNET/BPI a plus) and building science basics.Strong permitting/inspection knowledge; clean driving record.Compensation & structureCompetitive base + leadership override and/or per-job bonuses.Benefits available (medical, PTO, holidays)Company vehicle/allowance and tools discussed based on experience.Schedule & locationMonday–Friday; occasional Saturdays as needed.Based out of Blackwood, NJ with regional travel across NJ (PA expansion coming).
