Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist(LMFT)
Location: New York Position: Full-TimeSalary: $115,000–$120,000 per yearSchedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Job SummaryWe are seeking a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist to provide virtual counseling to individuals, couples, and families across New York. Your day will focus on scheduled telehealth sessions, practical treatment planning, and supporting clients as they work through relationship challenges, life transitions, and emotional stressors. This role is ideal for someone who values structured workdays and meaningful, clinically focused interaction.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couple, and family therapy via secure telehealth platforms.
- Complete intake assessments, formulate diagnoses, and create clear treatment plans.
- Support clients in developing communication, conflict resolution, and coping skills.
- Monitor progress, adjust interventions, and document all sessions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other providers or community resources when clinically appropriate.
- Maintain compliance with state, ethical, and documentation standards.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
- Active LMFT license in New York.
- 2+ years of post-licensure clinical experience.
- Experience working with couples and families preferred.
- Comfortable using telehealth and electronic health records.
