Job Description
LPN - Long Term Care
Duration: 13 weeks
Pay Rate: Starting at $37/hr
WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking experienced and compassionate LPNs to join our team in providing exceptional long-term care. Your role will involve delivering quality nursing care to residents in a supportive environment, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and health.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitoring and documenting patient progress, vital signs, and other health-related information.
- Assisting residents with daily living activities and personal care needs.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Providing emotional support and education to residents and their families.
- Ensuring a safe and sanitary environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 1 year of long-term care nursing experience.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Current BLS certification, with further certifications preferred.
