Seeking Licensed Psychologists (Neuropsych & Pediatric Focus) – Contract Opportunity with Indian Health Services (IHS)

Are you a licensed psychologist passionate about making a meaningful impact in underserved communities? Augustine Angels is seeking qualified, compassionate, and culturally competent psychologists for a federal contract supporting neuropsychological evaluations for American Indian and Alaskan Native youth.

Location: Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and parts of California. Evaluations will be conducted in-person at the Contractor's facilities. 

Position Summary:
Contract psychologists will perform comprehensive, in-person neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and young adults referred by Indian Health Service (IHS) providers. This includes cognitive, behavioral, and developmental assessments, integrated written reports, and actionable recommendations for families and providers.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth clinical interviews and review patient history.
  • Administer cognitive, behavioral, and neurodevelopmental tests.
  • Evaluate for disorders such as autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, FASD, and others.
  • Deliver HIPAA-compliant written reports with diagnostic clarity and supportive resources.
  • Collaborate with tribal providers and stakeholders.
  • Uphold cultural sensitivity and ethical excellence in all services.

Qualifications:
  • Doctorate (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology.
  • Licensed to practice in AZ, NV, UT, or CA (multi-state licensure preferred).
  • Specialized training in pediatric neuropsychology or developmental disorders strongly preferred.
  • Experience serving American Indian/Alaska Native populations or working in tribal settings a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to travel as needed for scheduled evaluations (travel reimbursement provided).

Contract Terms:
  • Flexible 1099 contractor position.
  • Evaluations scheduled per referral; no weekend/holiday work.
  • Expected referrals: ~1–2/month (up to 50/year).
  • Reports due within 15 months of appointment (faster preferred).
  • Compensation:  Please send us your per-evaluation rate or compensation requirements.
