Job Title: Life Safety & Security Install Technician Location: Des Moines, FieldJoin Team Kline – Where you’re not just an employee, you’re an owner! We’ve expanded our services to include HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more!Job Summary: The Life Safety & Security Install Technician is responsible for pre-work analysis, system programing, testing, and commissioning of life safety and security systems. They will communicate with the installation team and execute project scopes. - Conduct pre-work job analysis to identify potential obstaclesCommunicate with the installation team regarding system componentsProgram, test, and commission applicable technology systemsPerform system tests for compliance with regulationsParticipate in weekly on call rotation for emergency service as neededExecute project scopes and manage change ordersLearn new systems on the job and apply knowledge to integrationsMinimum Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D. 3 years of combined relevant experienceNICET II within 18 months of startingAbility to obtain state alarm license with background screeningValid driver's licenseMust be able to be covered under Team Kline's company vehicle insurance policyExperience troubleshooting and repairing fire alarm and low voltage systemsUnderstanding of electrical and building systems (HVAC, elevator, automation) Proficient in Microsoft Office and blueprint readingAerial lift certificationPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:Lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularlyWork on ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lift platformsMay work in confined spaces while following safety standards Clear and professional communication with customers and team membersWhy Team Kline?
