OUR LINE COOKS:
- Pride themselves on attention to detail to make sure every menu item has been prepared correctly and every detail is perfect
- Knowledge of temperatures of eggs
- Knowledge of meat temperatures
- Know the cooking techniques and menu builds like the back of your hands
- Be able to multitask
- Have the sense of urgency
- Understand the importance of a clean, safe and sanitary kitchen environment and take the safety of the food, guests and team seriously
- Inspire their teammates to ask them for help.
- Practice proper sanitation procedures and follow state, city, and company regulations
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum one (1-2) years line cook experience preferred.
- Steak house experience a plus
- Must be able to read and understand tickets and recipes
- Stand for long periods of time & be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds
- Properly use a knife and other equipment required to execute necessary tasks
- Maintain a current Food Handler's Certification
