Live Haul Manager **Maryland/Hurlock**

Effectively communicates with logistics catch machine manager on MM, catch machine, and loader readiness and availability. Position reports to the live haul manager.

Responsibilities:Ensures all live haul equipment is effectively maintained, and downtime is kept to a minimum.Writes and maintains effective preventative maintenance schedules on all equipment.Ensures mechanics are trained and effectively managedFederal inspection on LBKeep LB in good working order and ample parts for repairOrders parts & keeps them on hand to prevent downtimeEvaluates different options for equipment and together with live haul manager purchases the best value for Amick Farms.Ensures all equipment is spotted on appropriate farms in a timely mannerEnsures cages are pulled and repaired in a timely mannerAlso schedules work shift hours, and keeps up with attendanceRuns the shop as cost efficient as possible and keeps equipment operational

The shop manager plays a crucial role in communicating with other managers to ensure a good process flow, parts onsite, and keeping equipment on the road. They must keep in constant contact with mechanics, admin clerk, logistics and catch machine manager. Multiple communication avenues will have to be utilized to be effective.
