Loan Servicing Specialist I Salary Range:

$19.06 - $20.31 depending on prior Loan Servicing experience

Purpose:

As a Loan Servicing Specialist I, you will be responsible for the basic administration and management of Mortgage Loans after origination. You will support the Loan Servicing department by performing various administrative and member service tasks related to Mortgage Loan documentation, research, satisfaction, and maintenance. You will handle routine inquiries from both members and internal Team Members and review and input loan data into the core systems accurately. A Loan Servicing Specialist I acts as a representative of Space Coast Credit Union and provides exceptional service to both members and internal Team Members.

Loan Servicing Specialist I Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provides a contact source for members and credit union employees for research and questions regarding loan accounts.
• Processes correction and/or research requests forwarded electronically from various internal departments per established performance standards.
• Completes negative amortization reviews on monthly basis.
• Reviews and resolves discrepancies within Home Equity Lines of Credit.
• Updates members loan due dates and payment methods upon members request; determines if restrictions are applicable.
• Processes requests for funds transfers, Share to Share transactions and account corrections received from the Credit Solutions department.
• Corrects, reconstructs and modifies consumer loans by adjusting rate, term, payment posting errors, and payment history in order to create an accurate member loan history.
• Researches and resolves member disputes to ensure both loan quality and member satisfaction.
• Reviews all adjustable rate mortgages and makes appropriate changes in interest rate and payment.

Loan Servicing Specialist I Qualifications:

• High School plus additional course work gained through attendance at vocational, technical or business school or equivalent experience is required.
• 1-3 years prior experience in a loan servicing role or equivalent is required.

Loan Servicing Specialist I Hours:

• Monday- Friday 8:00am- 5:00pm
• Saturdays on rotation 9:00am- 3:00pm.
