CDL-A Flatbed Shuttle Driver – Lafayette, IN
Home Daily | $25–$28/hr | Local Shuttle | Overtime Pay | 1 Year Experience Required
Position Overview:Join our Shuttle account based in Lafayette, Indiana, hauling engines, generators, and radiators on local shuttle routes. Drivers enjoy home daily schedules, steady weekday work, and hourly pay with overtime opportunities. This is a great fit for experienced flatbed drivers who want predictable routes and reliable home time while working with a respected national carrier.
Pay & Schedule:Hourly Pay:
1st Shift: $25/hr (Mon–Fri, 6 AM–4 PM)
Swing Shift: $26/hr
2nd Shift: $27/hr
3rd Shift: $28/hr (Sun–Thu or Thu–Mon, 10 PM–6 AM)Overtime: Time and a half after 40 hoursHome Time: Home dailyWeekend Work: As needed, depending on plant schedule
Freight & Equipment:
Freight: Engines, generators, radiators – live load/unload
Equipment: Step decks primarily, occasional double drops
Optional: 1st shift may pull dry vans if comfortable
Tractors: 2016–2023 Kenworth (non-slip seat, subject to change)
Speed: Governed at 65 mph
Bonuses & Incentives:New Hire Transition Bonus: $500 (paid on 2nd paycheck)Referral Bonus: $3,000 total — $1,000 at 2nd paycheck, 60 days, and 120 days
Requirements:• Minimum 1 year CDL-A experience• 6 months verified flatbed experience in the last 3 years• Proficient with chains, binders, and strapping• Securement training required; chain/binder training preferred• Must be available for occasional weekend work• Orientation in Atlanta required
