Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a talented and experienced Senior Configuration Manager to assist in support of several major systems within the Defense Information Systems Agency.  The candidate must reference their ability and experience in working in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team. 

Working under the supervision of their respective Team Lead the candidate must perform a full range of Asset Management and property accountability functions to include inventory analysis, data input, and tracking associated with assigned customer accounts, update to MS-Access database, maintain asset records and ensure accountability through desk-top audit and, on site physical inventory of equipment. Additionally, responsibilities will require daily support for IPT planning meetings and other logistics related activities, as assigned by task lead.

Roles and Responsibilities:

The Senior Asset Logistics Manager's responsibilities encompass ensuring the integrity and optimization of physical assets throughout the life cycle process and maintaining accurate documentation. This role involves developing and implementing asset management plans and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent processes.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop required logistics documentation necessary to transport equipment, transfer custody of equipment, and ownership (e.g., DD1149, DD1150, Equipment Movement Forms, DA4949, etc.)
  • Perform Property Custodian (PC) duties in accordance with current DISA Property Management policies and instructions, and IAW Policy 270-165-8 Accountability and Internal Controls for DISA Equipment, and subsequent updates (e.g., catalogue equipment into cognizant property book, update property book information for equipment ownership and location, perform DRMO and excess to properly remove equipment from DoD property book).
  • Monitor government property that is hand receipted from the Government Property Book and accounted for in ELMS.
  • Report and initiate Financial Loss and Investigation of Property Loss (FLIPL) reports where losses or suspected losses of property is known in accordance with DISA Instruction 270-165-9, and subsequent updates.
  • Perform annual DISA property audits for ELMS accountable Government property and non-accountable program property. 
  • Conduct annual 100% government property inventories and verification of physical inventory of property that is the responsibility of the PC.
  • Perform monthly review and reconciliation of DISA property and DPAS accountable property to ensure property books are accurately maintained.
  • Develop, update, and distribute Sub-Hand Receipts and Property Pass documents for accountability and tracking of assets.
  • Create, report, and deliver weekly/monthly progress/status reports
  • Perform electronic and hard copy quality control functions

Technical Proficiency:

  • Familiarity with software, hardware, and network components, as well as relevant tools and technologies.

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

  • Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions.

Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Organizational and Documentation Skills:

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Current SECRET level clearance (REQUIRED)
  • Training, education and or experience in Department of Defense Asset Management and Control Tactics and Techniques.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office (SharePoint, MS-Word, Excel, Visio, MS-Project, etc.), and data analysis.
  • Strong verbal communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Able to successfully manage multiple time sensitive actions simultaneously.
  • Ability to lift 35-50 lbs.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, as assigned (travel up to 35%)

Education/Certifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred but not required.
