Come join us if you are looking for a purpose-driven and authentic career!
Knix is looking for an experienced and dynamic Logistics & Supply Chain leader to anchor our US Supply Chain. Based out of our Columbus Area distribution hub, this Manager role is the critical operational and strategic lead for our US entity, overseeing the full spectrum of logistics and supply chain functions.
You will act as the "control tower" for the US market, providing end-to-end management over our supply chain: directly managing the 3PL service relationship, overseeing all inbound/outbound logistics and US customs compliance (including tariffs and duties), and participating in financial sign-off authority for US inventory and freight payments. You will lead a direct report (Merchandising & Planning Analyst) and partner closely with Leadership in the US & Canada to ensure our fastest-growing market operates with seamless efficiency and strong cross-border alignment.
About You
- The End-to-End Logistics Expert: You possess a deep understanding of the full supply chain, from global sourcing to final customer delivery. You don't just process orders; you actively manage the flow, address complex exceptions, and are experienced in 3PL service management, ensuring optimal execution for all channels, including high-volume Amazon FBA and complex Wholesale accounts like Costco.
- The Strategic Planner: You have proven experience in inventory planning and order management, translating demand forecasts into actionable logistics plans to prevent bottlenecks and optimize stock levels across the network.
- The Collaborator & Cross-Border Navigator: You proactively bridge the gap between the US entity and the Canadian parent company, ensuring that financial approvals, strategic inventory goals, and cross-border tariffs and duties compliance are perfectly aligned.
- The Owner with Financial Acumen: You are comfortable having financial sign-off authority. Whether it's verifying freight payments, approving a massive inbound shipment, or managing a large PO, you double-check the details and stand by your decisions.
- The Coach: You know how to guide an Analyst-helping them translate complex logistics data into actionable insights while clearing any operational roadblocks in their way.
3PL Service & Multi-Channel Logistics Management
- 3PL Relationship: Serve as the primary point of contact and manager for the 3PL, ensuring efficient, high-quality, and compliant logistics and distribution services across all US sales channels: E-commerce, Amazon FBA, Retail, and Wholesale (including specific account management for partners like Costco).
- Inbound/Outbound Logistics: Oversee and manage the complete inbound/outbound logistics function, from supplier to DC and DC to customer.
- Inventory Planning & Order Management: Collaborate with the Analyst and Merchandising teams to ensure proactive inventory planning, scheduling, and efficient execution of all order management processes for each channel.
Financial, Procurement & Compliance Management
- PO Approval & Payment Release: Review and approve all critical Purchase Orders (POs) generated by the Analyst. Liaise with the parent company to verify and release payments for inventory and freight destined for the U.S.
- Customs & Cross-Border Compliance: Handle and oversee all customs paperwork, cross-border tariffs and duties, and compliance requirements for all U.S. inbound shipments. Act as the primary sign-off point for supplier/broker communications involving shipments into the U.S.
Team Leadership & Matrix Collaboration
- Team Management: Manage, mentor, and direct the day-to-day activities of the Merchandising & Planning Analyst.
- Wholesale Integration: Partner directly with the VP of Wholesale in the U.S. and Technology Teams at our headquarters to ensure adequate preparation and technical integration with each new wholesale account customer.
- Cross-Functional Support: Support your direct report in collaboration with the Merchandising Planning team, the Sourcing team and suppliers on PO adjustments.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience in end-to-end Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations, with specific expertise in 3PL service management and inbound/outbound logistics management.
- Multi-Channel Expertise: Demonstrated experience with complex multi-channel fulfillment, including high-volume E-commerce, Amazon FBA account management, and major Wholesale account management (e.g., routing guides, onboarding, chargeback mitigation, ideally including Costco).
- Planning & Management: Proven experience in Inventory Planning and managing high-volume Order Management processes.
- Compliance: Deep knowledge of US Customs paperwork, cross-border tariffs and duties, HTS codes, and international shipping documentation.
- Financial Acumen: Experience with Purchase Order (PO) approval workflows and verifying large freight/inventory payments.
- Systems Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in NetSuite (ERP) and Shopify is essential.
- Leadership: Proven experience managing direct reports (specifically analysts or planners) is highly preferred.
- Location: Must be based in the Columbus, OH Area, with the ability to work out of the distribution center/office located in Ashville OH. This is a hybrid role with 1 to 3 days in the office required.
$90,000 - $110,000 a year
