Job Description
Sterling Chrysler GMC in Jennings, LA is hiring! We are looking for motivated individuals who take pride in serving Acadiana and being a part of a successful family-owned and operated business.
As a Lot Associate, you will maintain the dealership car lot to provide an organized, safe, and efficient means of viewing and maneuvering of vehicles. You’ll perform a variety of dealership responsibilities as it relates to vehicle and key check-in, and maintaining vehicle inventory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Receive and organize incoming new vehicle inventory from transport trucks
- Take high-quality photos of vehicles and upload them to the company website
- Arrange and maintain the vehicle lot according to manager guidelines
- Safely maneuver and park vehicles—including large trucks and manual transmissions—in tight spaces
- Assist sales staff and customers with locating vehicles on the lot
- Perform duties outdoors in all weather conditions, with extended periods of walking and standing
- Uphold Sterling’s commitment to professionalism and excellence at all times
Qualifications & Job Requirements:
- A safe, confident driver with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to drive and park all vehicle types, including heavy-duty and manual transmission
- Comfortable working outdoors and on your feet for extended periods
- A professional, coachable attitude and strong communication skills
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Minimum 21 years of age or 3 full years of driving experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
