Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Specialist to support daily operations by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment and facility systems. This role plays a key part in minimizing downtime, promoting workplace safety, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and general repairs, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic work
• Troubleshoot equipment issues using electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• Accurately document all maintenance activities in the maintenance tracking system
• Identify opportunities to improve machine performance and maintenance procedures
• Perform basic facility maintenance as needed
• Use tools and equipment safely while following OSHA standards and company safety policies
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership, both verbally and in writing
• Maintain organized work areas and high housekeeping standards
• Complete additional duties as assigned by supervision

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience in a production or manufacturing environment
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills on industrial machinery
• Ability to read safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
• Experience using a wide range of power tools
• Working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical prints
• Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, welding, HVAC, and electrical systems
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Willingness to work overtime as needed
• Ability to follow written, verbal, and diagram-based instructions
