This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Maintenance Technician in Americus, GA with Signify. Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting.
Conduct preventive maintenance on equipment throughout the manufacturing site
Provide general production support troubleshooting equipment issues
Handle logic controller programming
Participate in special projects throughout the facility
More about you
While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:
2+ years' experience handling maintenance in a manufacturing/fabrication environment
General knowledge of electrical work (3 phase) including motor, panel and conduit planning and installation; electrical certification a plus
Ability to safely use and operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in equipment and building repair/maintenance work
Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job; performing maintenance on equipment will require bending, stooping, and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs; performing facilities maintenance may require climbing a ladder or using a man lift to access plumbing and electrical fixtures
Experience troubleshooting and handling equipment repairs including brake presses, CNC turrets, panel benders, etc
Proven ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic schematics and symbol knowledge
Basic electronics and advanced control wiring knowledge along with program logic controller programming and troubleshooting knowledge and experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs

Rate - $23.68 to $28.48 (depending on experience and skill level)
