Maintenance Technician II

Responsibilities of Position:

• Troubleshooting and problem solving
• Ability to use hand tools
• Trouble shooting and repairing production equipment
• Capable of building wood crates
• Duties require frequent independent judgment involving a variety of operations.
• Perform machine preventative maintenance.
• Able to coordinate and maintain records, systems, and equipment in support of production.
• Working with hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
• Working with PLCs.
• Work with engineering staff on special projects.
• Ensure that daily production targets are attained at planned efficiency.
• Ensure that all safety requirements are followed

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of High School Diploma or Equivalent
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance with substantial interpersonal skills, both written and oral.
• Welding Experience
• Maintenance expertise

Licensing or Special Certification Requirements:

• Crane Certification
• HVAC, Electrical, or welding certification preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Walking
• Standing
• Bending
• Lifting up to 50 lbs
• Pushing, pulling
• You must wear hearing protection, safety glasses and steel toe shoes and other PPE as determined necessary for the job.

Working Conditions:

Works within an automotive components manufacturing facility setting and may be exposed to heat, cold and fumes/chemicals.
