The Quality, Safety and Training (QST) Manager will oversee and develop the AES Quality Control (QC), Safety, and Training programs and initiatives. S/He will work closely with the AES Quality Specialist, AMG HSEQ Department, SAFECOR, and AES Leaders in this effort to achieve best in class performance in these areas.
In Quality: Review, refine, and create the department's QC procedures, checklists, and systems for the equipment manufactured at the AES facility and by our third-party vendors.
In Safety: Be a leader in Safety: promote a culture of Health and Safety excellence.
In Training: Ensure AES training occurs and is documented.
In Quality: Assist with the Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) at our third-party vendors when required.
In Safety: Ensure AES complies with SAFECOR and AMG policies.
In Training: Develop AES technical training modules with Subject Matter Expert (SME) content to be added to Airgas University.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical) or equivalent experience in the Industrial Gas industry.
Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience managing industrial projects from start to finish.
Highly skilled in project management tools/techniques, such as scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and cost control.
Familiar with applications equipment using compression, refrigeration, purification, instrumentation, electrical, and controls.
Knowledge of codes and standards including ISO 9001, OSHA, National Electrical Code, UL, NFPA, AWS, ASME, and CGA.
Demonstrates ability to effectively communicate with project stakeholders; fluent in English - both written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with industrial gases and equipment.
Some knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
