Manager, Delivery Management
Summary of the role:
The Manager, Delivery Management is the strategic and operational lead responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of services, products, and solutions to customers. This role acts as the primary interface between commercial teams and delivery domains, ensuring alignment with business goals, customer expectations, and internal capabilities. This role will be responsible for delivery requests for NORAM & Online Travel Agencies Americas
In this role you'll:
- End-to-End Delivery Oversight
Own the full lifecycle of delivery-from planning and coordination to execution and reporting.
Manage deliverables across standard products, bespoke developments, consulting, and other services.
- Stakeholder Coordination
Serve as the entry point for Commercial teams.
Coordinate cross-functional teams and delivery domain experts to meet commitments.
Contribute to the invoicing process of the delivered product implementation and bespoke development.
Act as the escalation point for delivery-related issues (e.g. CRs and Work Orders in delivery) through the extended account team and meetings with line management.
- Customer Engagement & Satisfaction
Maintain proactive communication with customers.
Ensure customers adherence to the delivery plan, follow up on delivery dates and timelines.
Ensure that delivered solution or service to customer corresponds to what has been defined in the contract and that customer understands its full capability.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
Track KPIs and delivery status via dashboards.
Provide executive summaries highlighting risks and issues
Allocate resources effectively across delivery streams.
- Service Strategy & Portfolio Management
Contribute to defining and implementing service portfolios.
Align delivery strategy with regional and global goals
Work actively with Delivery Manager Operation Planning to provide inputs on enhancement opportunities of the current process, new process, reports, and adoption of guidelines agreed
About the Ideal Candidate:
University and/or Engineering degree in Tourism, or MBA and/or equivalent work experience
7+ years' experience in the travel industry
5+ years in team management.
Minimum of 5+ years' experience in Business Solution and /or Delivery management, acting as a Project/Program Manager in the Travel industry
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite
Business understanding and Skills:
Strategic planning and execution.
Good understanding of the travel and distribution industry IT industry trends & applications.
Accountable, analytical, problem solver, communicator, team player, collaborative.
Languages: English- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to travel- Travel will be minimal 15% (NORAM & Latam)
This role will be in either San Jose, Costa Rica or Bogota Colombia- San Jose, CR preferred
Must be willing to work a hybrid work model and work in the Amadeus office 50% of the working time.
