Job Title: Manufacturing AssemblerDepartment: Manufacturing OperationsReports to: Production ManagerVantage MedTech provides comprehensive design and manufacturing services, supporting the advancement of medical technologies from concept through to product realization. We develop and manufacture new products for the treatment of heart failure, cancer, stroke, Gene Therapy, COPD, TBI, Atrial Fibrillation, Blood Clots, Brain Surgery, and many more! The Manufacturing Assembler is responsible for performing basic assembly tasks for products in a manufacturing environment. Under direct supervision, the assembler will adhere to work instructions and use basic hand tools and equipment to assemble components or products to meet quality and production standards.This position is based on-site at our current manufacturing location in Lenexa, KS. In early 2026, we will be relocating to a new space in Olathe, KS.This is not a remote opportunity. Local candidates only. We do not offer relocation assistance. Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble components and subassemblies by hand using basic hand tools such as torque drivers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers.
- Adhere to detailed work instructions to ensure accuracy during the assembly process.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist in packing and labeling finished goods for shipping.
- Accurately perform transactions in the ERP System to capture the required production data and report any non-conformities to higher-level technicians or engineers.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Adhere to documented processes to ensure compliance with FDA GMPs and Quality System Regulations, ISO Standards, and other requirements as defined by company objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience assembling, soldering, and inspecting components in accordance with IPC-A-610 and/or IPC J-STD-001 standards (preferred).
- Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
- Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and internet navigation.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or with minimal supervision.
