The Electrical Products Group was recently purchased from Avail Infrastructure Solutions by nVent Electric plc ("nVent") and consists of three business units, Enclosure Systems, Switchgear Systems and Bus Systems. As a part of nVent, the Electrical Products Group is a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, designed to help ensure safe and reliable electrical operations primarily in the infrastructure vertical, including power utilities and data centers.

As a MANUFACTURING ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of a large scale, complex, or significant

engineering project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on

time and within budget. Reporting directly to the Manager, this

position is based in Richland, MS.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • EXPERIENCE: Must have 2-4 years of relevant experience.

Candidates should hold a degree, ideally in Electrical Engineering,

Electrical Technology, or another relevant technical field. Equivalent

experience may be considered.

  • SKILLS: Familiar with AutoCAD and modeling software.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Leads or coordinates project planning, resourcing, staffing,

progress reporting, people management, and troubleshooting for

engineering projects.

  • Ensures project results meet requirements regarding technical

quality, reliability, schedule and cost.

  • Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing

solutions.

  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Identifies, develops, and gathers necessary resources to complete

the project.

  • Prepares complex engineering designs and work specifications, and

develops schedules, budgets and forecasts.

  • Monitors activities, allocates resources, and assigns tasks to

ensure targets are met.

  • Liaises with other areas to secure specialized resources and

contributions for the projects
