Job Description

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the Community Cruiser and ATM trailer including event setup/takedown, stocking, and return. Ensure all equipment is secure and ready for public engagement.
  • Maintain mechanical condition and cosmetic cleanliness of AmFirst Marketing vehicles. Schedule and document regular maintenance. Fuel and prepare delivery vans for events.
  • Ensure all onboard technology in the Community Cruiser and ATM trailer (satellite, media displays, interactive systems, etc.) is functional and current. Complete monthly audits in coordination with internal audit guidelines.
  • Maintains the calendar for the Community Cruiser and looks for other opportunities to showcase the Cruiser.
  • Maintains inventory of event fixtures and supplies such as tablecloths ensuring all items are organized and cleaned.
  • Support membership development efforts by helping with staff events aimed at member acquisition and retention. This may include giving a presentation or speaking at an event.
  • Represent AmFirst at community events by providing setup support, interacting with members and prospects, and promoting products and services in a professional and engaging way.
  • Assist the Community Engagement team with on-site and off-site events. Assist with delivering supplies, signage, and promotional items to events and branches.
  • Other duties as assigned to support the marketing department.

Performance Measurements:

  • Maintain a timely vehicle service and event preparation schedule.
  • Ensure readiness and reliability of all Cruiser systems and equipment.
  • Deliver consistent, professional event setup and support.
  • Support membership and community engagement initiatives through event execution and logistical support.
  • Maintain accurate records of mileage, maintenance, and audit compliance.

Knowledge and Skills:

Experience: One month to twelve months of similar or related experience.

Education: A high school education or equivalent.

Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

Other Skills:

  • Valid driver's license. Must be able to be insured by company insurance
  • Proficiency towing and maneuvering large vehicles/trailers
  • Organizational skills and ability to work independently
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable with light tech troubleshooting (media systems, displays)

Physical Requirements: Work involves frequent lifting and carrying of objects (e.g., event equipment, promotional items) weighing up to 50 pounds in various environments, including outdoor weather conditions.

Work Environment: Must be able to travel and work evenings and weekends as needed.
