Summary

The Marketing Intern will support the Laser Technology Division and the Strategic Marketing team by assisting with the execution of marketing initiatives across digital, event, and content channels. This role provides hands-on exposure to B2B marketing in a global, technology-driven environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and eager to learn how marketing activities contribute to measurable business results.

Internship will be on-site from May 2026 - December 2026.

Intern will work 40hours a week for the May-August duration and at least 25+ hours from September- December.

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with the execution of digital marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, LinkedIn advertising, landing page development, and trade show coordination.

  • Support the creation of marketing assets such as event signage, digital content, and basic video capture and editing.

  • Assist with planning and execution of trade shows and in-house marketing events, including logistics, sample shipments, and promotional materials.

  • Collaborate with Sales, Application Engineers, Product Managers, and Industry Managers to support the development of marketing collateral.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall marketing team objectives.

Travel

  • Minimal local or regional travel (approximately 5-10%).

  • Occasional overnight travel as required.

  • Valid driver's license required.

Physical Requirement

  • Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.

  • Sufficient mobility to move throughout an office and event environments.

  • Ability to perform standard computer-based work.

Education & Experience

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with email marketing platforms, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or CRM systems preferred.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.

  • Interest in data-driven marketing and performance measurement.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Proactive mindset with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning B2B marketing in a global organization.
