Position Summary
Sony Honda Mobility of America (SHMA) is seeking a Marketing Technology Specialist with strong Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience to support customer growth initiatives through marketing automation, CRM systems, and data operations. This role partners closely with the Digital Customer Growth Manager to translate growth strategy into scalable, reliable marketing technology solutions that power the AFEELA customer journey.
In this hands-on role, you will support the technical execution of customer communications, pre order and reservation workflows, data validation, and system troubleshooting across marketing platforms. You will also coordinate with external agency developers and internal analytics teams to ensure marketing systems are stable, accurate, and continuously improving.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of marketing, data, and technology, is comfortable moving between strategy and execution, and thrives in fast paced, high growth environments.
Job Responsibilities
- Support customer journey design and execution across Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including segmentation, QA, and deployment
- Build, test, and maintain SQL queries, data extensions, and validation logic for marketing use cases
- Execute troubleshooting and hotfixes to resolve data, automation, and system issues quickly and accurately
- Support pre order, demo, configuration, and reservation communication workflows across digital channels
- Translate business requirements and growth strategies into clear technical specifications for agency developers
- Support front end updates to marketing assets such as CloudPages, forms, and basic HTML and CSS changes
- Ensure data accuracy, system stability, and documentation of workflows, logic, and processes
- Partner with Business Intelligence and Analytics teams to review performance data and identify optimization opportunities
- Support testing and deployment of new campaigns, journeys, and integrations
- Maintain documentation and best practices to support scalability and operational continuity
- Collaborate cross functionally with Marketing, Product, Sales, and IT teams to support customer experience initiatives
Required Qualifications for Position
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 3 to 6 years of experience in Marketing Technology, CRM operations, Marketing Automation, or Growth Operations
- Hands on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud including Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Contact Builder
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and data modeling for marketing and customer engagement use cases
- Experience supporting automation workflows, segmentation, and campaign execution
- Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to diagnose system and data issues quickly
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in technical execution
- Ability to translate marketing strategy into technical workflows and system requirements
- Comfortable working in fast paced, evolving environments with changing priorities
Preferred Qualifications for Position
- Experience integrating Salesforce Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM or customer data platforms
- Experience in automotive, EV, mobility, SaaS, or high growth consumer technology environments
- Familiarity with API based integrations and data pipelines
- Experience working with external development agencies and analytics partners
- Exposure to front end web technologies including HTML, CSS, and form integrations
- Experience supporting customer acquisition, lead management, and pre order funnels
- Strong documentation and process improvement mindset

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $100,000-$110,000. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
