The purpose of the position is to be responsible for this company and maintain the highest standards possible in the areas of efficiency and quality in the Markets warehouse during the shift. In this position, you will be trained to work with a GREAT Team of Hard-working individuals.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to;- Responsible to learn this position as well as all functions of the Markets warehouse.
- Become efficient when working with company software programs such as Parlevel and Lightspeed.
- Oversee Markets Warehouse to ensure work is being completed in a timely fashion, as well as accurately and efficiently.
- Responsible for helping to maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Responsible for notifying Warehouse Manager of any problems or suggestions you feel can improve the efficiency of your job, as well as any other job-related to plant operation
- Responsible for maintaining accurate records and making sure the proper forms are filled out and returned to the appropriate offices.
- Responsible for helping other team members as needed.
- Responsible for wearing proper attire to work every day. Mahaska T-shirt, appropriate pants, and shoes.
- Responsibilities subject to change by Warehouse Manager or Chief of Operations.
- Report any injuries to your supervisor immediately and promptly. Complete all appropriate forms and reports.
- Familiarize yourself with safety policy and protocol for handling after-hours work compensation injuries and accidents.
- Report all accidents and/or damage done to company equipment to your supervisor.
- Receive loads and unload trucks using a forklift.
- Responsible for inventorying the warehouse accurately and timely as needed.
- Must have reliable and regular attendance.
- Responsible for keeping the pick line, cooler, and freezer stocked during shift.
