Location: Franklin Township

Department: School Based

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift: Monday- Friday, 8:00 A.M.- 5:00 P.M(hours may vary depending on school location

In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services-including counseling, psychotherapy, and behavior modification techniques-under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist. You'll conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions to support clients in achieving their mental health and wellness goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy under the supervision of a licensed therapist or psychologist.

  • Conduct client intakes, screenings, and comprehensive assessments within established timeframes.

  • Diagnose clients based on assessment findings and create individualized treatment plans in accordance with regulatory and agency standards.

  • Facilitate counseling sessions using evidence-based approaches to promote client well-being and personal growth.

  • Participate in clinical staffing and treatment meetings, offering professional feedback on client progress.

  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant documentation of all services provided.

  • Support clients during transitions of care and complete related discharge documentation.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments to ensure authorized services and continuity of care.

  • Manage crisis situations, providing immediate intervention or coordination of emergency services.

  • Engage in ongoing professional development and complete all required training and certifications.

  • Represent the organization professionally within the community and maintain ethical and collaborative relationships.

Education and/or Experience Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Experience providing therapy, counseling, or behavioral health services preferred.

  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment models and trauma-informed care.

Required License/Certification (One of the Following):

  • Eligible or fully licensed as a LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent in the state of practice.

  • Ability to obtain licensure in additional states if required.

  • Must be willing and comfortable providing telehealth services (training provided).

Additional Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic criteria, treatment modalities, and rehabilitation techniques for mental health and/or substance use disorders.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team.

  • Crisis management and problem-solving abilities.

  • Commitment to ethical practice and continuous professional growth.
