Job Description
What You'll Do:
- Expedites materials between warehouse and departments.
- Verifies quantity and condition of materials received.
- Stores incoming materials using forklift.
- Picks materials from inventory for distribution and arranges for delivery to work stations.
- Prepares and packages materials for outbound shipments.
- Completes and distributes shipping documents.
- Performs cycle count by reconciling physical inventory with data in automated system.
- Maintains and completes all required records and requires good computer skills.
- Generate reports to establish shortage lists and determine needed materials by interpreting shop drawings or blueprints.
What You'll Need:
- Work requires an understanding of the organization of materials, the location of work stations, and the ability to read shop drawings and blueprints.
- These characteristics are acquired through completion of a junior high school education and approximately six to twelve months experience.
- Must be able to operate a fork lift.
- Ability to function as a team member; to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
